Kelli Meeker, Youth and Outreach Coordinator, Moore Farms Botanical Garden
Kelli grew up in southern California and received her B.A. in International Studies from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. After graduating, she accepted a position with the Montezuma School to Farm Project as an AmeriCorps service member in Mancos, Colorado. As a School Garden Coordinator she grew to love edible education and how it helped create curious and empowered students. Kelli joined the Moore Farms Botanical Garden team in 2016 to help enrich and expand the youth and family programs. She is passionate about building community through outdoor education and land stewardship, and is proud to call South Carolina her home.
Transport your students from the classroom to the natural world. Come learn about the field trip programs offered at Moore Farms Botanical Garden! We will explore all of our programs for students K-12, from the heroes of the insect kingdom to soil quality chemistry to living architecture. We will also discuss other in-school educational opportunities and engage in a demonstration hands-on activity, just like your students will at the garden. All programs correlate with South Carolina Academic Standards and are free of charge.
Achieve your curriculum goals with a new, hands-on learning experience for your students.
