Varsity Football Suffers First Loss

On Friday, October 18th, the varsity football team was defeated by Cavaliers 28-35. The Bobcats were led by Austin Brown rushing for 153 yards on 19 attempts and 2 touchdowns. Jeremiah Brunson rushed for 31 yards on 7 attempts. Quaterback, Cade Castles was 5 for 13 for 158 yard and one passing touchdown. Cade also rushed 49 yards, adding a rushing touchdown. Matt Gaskins had 142 yards receiving and one receiving touchdown.

Our defense was led by Matt Gaskins with 6 solo tackles and 2 assist. Cody Sauls had 4 solo tackles and 9 assist, Kohl Coker had 4 solo tackles and 4 assist, Jeremiah Brunson had 3 solo tackles and 4 assist, George Wilder had 3 solo tackles and 4 assist, Cooper Teal had 2 solo tackles, Tyler Galloway had 2 solo tackles, and Wyatt Parnell had 1 solo tackles and 10 assist. Kohl Coker and Matthew Joye both had one solo sack. Coleman Johnson added 4 extra points after touchdowns.

The Bobcats will play at home this Friday, October 25th, against Dillon Christian. Come out and cheer on the Bobcats as they get back on their winning track.
