FACTS Assistance

FACTS helps parents and students stay on top of grades and homework. You can contact a teacher via email and check your child's lunch balance. You can also use FACTS to update your basic information to keep the school aware of changes to your address, phone numbers, and other vital information.

Here are some frequently asked questions:

How To Create Your FACTS Account

  • On the school website, click the FACTS icon at the top right corner of the website or go to this link.
  • The Add/Edit dialog box displays.
  • After the FACTS Family Portal Login screen opens, please select Create New Family Portal Account.
  • Enter (CARO-SC) into the District Code field.
  • Enter in the Email field your email address as provided in your application to the school.
  • Click the Create Account button.
  • You will receive an email from FACTS SIS Customer Support containing a link that will allow you to create your username and password. For security purposes the link will remain active for 6 hours.
  • Please click on the link. A Change/Create Password screen will open. You may use the default username provided, or create a new username. Then type in your desired password into the Password field and Confirm Field.
  • Click on the Save Username and/or Password button.
  • Close the window.
  • Log into Family Portal as instructed below.

How To Login Into Your FACTS Account

  • On the school website, click the FACTS icon at the top right corner of the website or go to this link.
  • Enter your parent/student login information in the appropriate space.
  • Once you are logged in you may access whatever area you need.

How To Preorder Lunch Items

  • Once in Family Portal,click Student, then select Lunch.
  • Parents can select Classic or Collapsible display types.
  • Click the student name for which you wish to place an order.
  • The Lunch Order Form expands listing each date an order may be placed.
  • Click the date to place an order.
  • Type the number of items to order for the student in the Quantity column. The Total column displays the cost.
  • Repeat for all dates and all students. The Grand Total is listed at the bottom.
  • Click Order Items. The charges will now display for the student on their Family Portal portal to be paid on the Financial scree

How To Check My Child's Lunch Balance

  • Once in Family Portal,click Financial.
  • Under the section Prepay Accounts, the lunch balance will show.
  • If you click on the dollar amount, a window will appear showing when the transactions were processed and the date the student ordered the menu items.

How To Enroll My Child For The Next School Year

  • Once in Family Portal,click Apply/Enroll in the left menu.
  • Click on the Enrollment/Reenrollment link.
  • Click on the the link that states Click here to open Enrollment.
  • Our Online Enrollment system will open with a link to the enrollment packet for your child. The online process should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Your information will be saved if you need to quit and come back later. The Instructions and Enrollment Checklist page of the enrollment packet contains supplemental enrollment forms that also must be submitted. Further instructions on these forms are provided online.
