Yesterday at Wilson Hall the track team competed with Camden Military, Heathwood Hall, Lee Academy, Lakewood HS, Ragin Prep, Crestwood HS, Laurence Manning, and Wilson Hall. Dakota Jernigan Placed 1st in the high jump at 5’3 securing a new school record, 1st in the triple jump at 32’01”, 2nd place in the long jump at 15’2″, and 8th in the 200 meter. Zyniah McClam finished 7th in the triple jump at 28’2″. Garrett Sauls finished first in the long jump at 19’8″, 7th in the triple jump at 36’2″, and 6th in the high jump at 5’4″. Connor Coker placed 6th in javelin toss with 104’6″. Ashton Rambo placed 7th in the javelin toss with 103’6″ and 3rd place in 110 hurdles at 20.15. Tripp Turner, Garrett Sauls, Ashton Rambo, and Dylan Gardener finished 5th in the 400 relay at 49:39. Tripp Turner, Jackson Altman, Connor Coker, and Dylan Gardener finished 3rd in the 1600 relay at 4:16.
