Our TCA Track team competed with Orangeburg Prep on Thursday, March 13th. Daniel McKenzie placed 2nd in the discus throw and 1st in shot put. He was a state qualifier for both. Josh Brown placed 3rd place in the long jump, qualifying for state, and placed 3rd place in the javelin throw. Manning Cox placed 6th in the 400 hurdles. Payton Prosser placed 4th in the long jump at 14’65”. Carter Altman placed 8th in the long jump. Dylan Gardner, Kevin Toledo, Lane Edwards, and Josh Brown placed 6th in the Boys 400 relay. Kevin Toledo, Dylan Gardner, Lane Edwards, and Manning Cox placed 6th in the Boys 1600 Relay. Carter Altman, Powers Lane, Ava Johnson< and Payton Prosser placed 7th in the Girls 400 relay. Carter Altman, Powers Lane, Ava Johnson, and Macey Gamble placed 3rd in the Girls 1600 relay. Come support our track team at West Florence on Tuesday, March 18th.
