With the presentation of our Easter program before Spring Break, we now have completed four of the five concert performances from our music program at TCA. The only program left for us to prepare for is K5 Graduation on May 12th.
Each year we begin by singing for Veterans Day in November. This past Veterans Day our roughly 280 music students sang one song for our Veteran Heroes: “American Tears”. We had five 5th grade girls sing solos in this patriotic song, and the other 275 students stood perfectly still on the risers before they joined in on the chorus.
Christmas is always one of our major programs. Again, all of our students from 2K through the 6th grade participated. All year these children have been reminded that Jesus issues a call to each and every one of us, and that call is to give our lives to Him. He wants each and every part of our lives, so we need to give 100% to Jesus, and not hold anything back.
The Grandparents Day program in February was the concert where everyone had a blast. singing joyfully and happily performing for our Grandparents. It was wonderful. Then came the Spring program just a few days ago. It was simply one of the best these little musicians have ever done!
Mr. Ira would like to thank every student for making these programs great!
